James Anthony joined Nichols Insurance in 2010 with 17 years of experience in the insurance industry, 14 of which were as a BlueCross BlueShield agent. At Nichols Insurance, James specializes in employee benefit plans and life insurance. He likes to create long-lasting relationships with his clients in order to provide the best choices to protect their assets and meet their needs.

Prior to his involvement in the insurance industry, James served our country in the air force for ten years, being discharged with Honors. He attended the University of Texas, and then relocated to Tampa in 1992 with his wife and two children.

James is heavily involved in community events such as the Metropolitan Ministries, Joshua House, Hugs for Kids Camp, and is a former President of the Carollwood Rotary Club. He is currently a member of Business Networking International (BNI) and is also extremely involved with his sons, Austin and Wesley and their school activities. Aside from community involvement, James enjoys being outside and in the water with his family, playing chess, traveling and enjoying life.
