James Nichols, President
James founded Nichols Insurance Associates, Inc. in 1993. Previously, he was president of the largest Blue Cross Blue Shield general agency in Florida.
James has a BS from the University of Massachusetts and an MBA from New York University. He is a member of the BlueCross BlueShield Diamond Club, Humana Leaders Club, and is a United Healthcare Platinum Producer. James has appeared in the Tampa Bay Business Journal and is a SunTrust Meet the Panel founding member. He is also a speaker at various groups such as the Pinellas Estate Planning Council, Clearwater Chamber, Indo-US and others.
James has been married for 25 years and has four children, ages 18 - 23. His volunteer work includes being a Cubmaster for 5 years with Pack 402, teaching Sunday school at St. Cecelia's Church for 7 years, and Clearwater High School Project Graduation. He was also a co-founder of Men in Christ and is a member of the Moffitt Pinellas Partners. He enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, golfing, scuba diving and the Boston Red Sox.
